An experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for a full-time contract position in a school setting located in Irvine, CA. This role offers the opportunity to apply specialized skills in pediatric speech and language development within an educational environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience working in school settings with children and adolescents
- Familiarity with healthcare and pediatric speech-language pathology best practices
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred
- Experience supporting speech-language pathology assistants (SLPA) in school or healthcare environments
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based therapy to students
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student communication goals
- Maintain accurate documentation for student progress and compliance with school policies
- Provide training and supervision to SLPA team members as appropriate
