Step into a fulfilling role supporting K-12 students as a School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist, located near Irmo, SC. This contract position runs the full 202627 school year and is fully onsite. Youll work a steady 37.5 hours each week in a collaborative school environment, making a real difference in childrens lives.

Key Qualifications:

• Active South Carolina SLP license
• Current SC Educator Certification
• Clinical experience with pediatric populations
• Familiarity with school-based SLP responsibilities, including IEP development
• Strong knowledge of assessments and progress monitoring
• Comfort with a variety of speech-language modalities, including direct therapy and documentation

Core Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech and language assessments with K12 students
• Create individualized and effective student goals based on assessment outcomes
• Lead and participate in IEP meetings, collaborating with families and educational teams
• Deliver direct therapy services to students onsite
• Maintain accurate records, documentation, and progress reports as required by the school
• Coordinate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary team members to support each students success

This position values professionals familiar with traditional and best-practice school-based SLP methods, including those with SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, and previous experience in education or pediatric healthcare settings.
