Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state SLP license or the ability to obtain prior to start date
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are welcome
- Previous experience in pediatric or school-based settings strongly preferred
- Familiarity with IEP procedures and documentation requirements
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with teachers, administrators, students, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and evidence-based interventions
- Prepare and maintain accurate records in accordance with school and legal standards
- Participate in IEP meetings, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Provide both individual and group therapy sessions to address a variety of speech and language concerns
- Educate and consult with teachers, paraprofessionals, and families to support student goals in the classroom and beyond
