Job Description
A skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with experience in pediatric and school-based settings is needed for a contract position supporting K-12 students. This role provides flexible options to work either virtually or in-person, offering 25 hours per week of direct therapy services and educational support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech therapy services to students with diverse communication needs
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify student goals and eligibility
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings collaboratively
- Develop, write, and update IEPs in compliance with educational standards
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of student progress and services
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid SLP license with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
- Experience in pediatric speech-language pathology, preferably in school settings
- Familiarity with teletherapy service delivery and related technologies
- Knowledge of K-12 educational practices and IEP processes
- Strong communication skills for engaging with students, families, and educational teams
Location and Duration:
- Position available in Ionia, MI with flexible virtual or in-person work options
- Contract period from now until the end of the 2025-2026 school year
