Job Description
A contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the 2026-2027 school year, serving an elementary caseload in Inyokern, CA. This role requires providing onsite SLP services within a public school setting, supporting students with diverse communication needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy to elementary-aged students.
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and support special education processes.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist with a valid CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence).
- Previous experience working as a school-based SLP.
- Strong knowledge of communication disorders common among elementary students.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to manage a full caseload efficiently and effectively.
- Must be available to work onsite for the full contract period.
Location: Inyokern, California onsite position only.
Contract Duration: August 6, 2026 May 27, 2027
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week.
