Make a difference in the lives of students as an onsite Speech-Language Pathologist working with PreK through 5th grade. This rewarding contract role offers you the chance to put your expertise and passion for pediatric speech therapy to work while collaborating with a supportive educational team. Youll enjoy a manageable caseload of approximately 55 students and the satisfaction of serving schools near Indio, CA.
What Youll Bring:
- Current California SLP license
- Experience in school-based, healthcare, or pediatric SLP settings (CFY candidates welcome!)
- ASHA CCCs (Certificate of Clinical Competence) preferred but not required
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Commitment to evidence-based, student-centered therapy
Your Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to PreK5th grade students across multiple schools
- Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and document student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and fellow specialists to maximize student growth
- Participate in IEP meetings as needed and comply with all district/state protocols
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and supportive school environment
