Job Description

A healthcare position is available in Indio, CA, for Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to support multiple school sites throughout the upcoming school year (2025-2026). This full-semester contract offers 37.5 hours per week serving pediatric populations with direct and indirect therapy needs.

Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting speech and language evaluations
  • Developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Delivering direct and indirect therapy services to school-aged children
  • Managing caseloads across multiple schools with ages and grade levels to be determined closer to the start of the school year

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid California SLP license or California Clear Teaching Credential (CTC)
  • Experience working with pediatric clients in healthcare, school, or clinical settings
  • Ability to perform typical SLP duties such as assessments, therapy planning, and documentation
  • Must be able to independently manage caseloads as no district-provided supervision is available
