Job Description

This position is ideal for a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist who enjoys collaborating with educators and working directly with children and adolescents to empower their academic and social growth.

Key Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current state SLP license or eligibility to obtain
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, though Clinical Fellows will also be considered
  • Previous experience in a K12 school setting valued, but not required
  • Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills

Responsibilities:

  • Assess student speech, language, and communication abilities using standardized tools and observations
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students identified with speech or language needs
  • Provide direct therapy services to individuals and small groups in accordance with IEP goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to promote successful strategies and interventions
  • Maintain thorough and accurate records in compliance with state and federal special education regulations
  • Participate in IEP meetings, staff training, and ongoing professional development
