Step into a rewarding school-based opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting students' communication and academic success. This full-time, onsite position is conveniently located near Independence, MO, and runs the duration of the academic year, from late August through May. You'll work a consistent schedule, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 am to 4:40 pm, collaborating with teams to make a true difference in student lives.

Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

• Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Recent experience in a school-based environment strongly preferred
• Ability to adapt to varying caseloads and grade levels
• Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
• Approachable, compassionate, and collaborative attitude

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate students for speech, language, and communication disorders
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
• Provide direct therapy services to students onsite
• Consult and collaborate with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary teams
• Maintain up-to-date records and progress documentation
• Participate in IEP meetings and related school-based activities
• Flexibility to serve diverse age groups and caseload assignments
