A specialized opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with certification and experience in pediatric and school-based settings. This position is based in Idaho Springs, CO, serving PreK-12 students, offering a blend of school and travel work. It is designed for professionals who hold a Colorado SLP license and certification from the Colorado Department of Education (CDE).
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to a caseload of 30 students across PreK-12 grades.
- Deliver teletherapy and in-person interventions tailored to individual student needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Document progress and maintain compliance with district and state regulations.
- Adapt and modify therapy approaches to meet diverse student needs within a 4-day school week (Monday through Thursday).
Qualifications:
- Valid Colorado Speech-Language Pathologist license.
- CDE certification with eligibility to practice in school settings.
- Experience working with pediatric populations, including teletherapy capabilities.
- Knowledge of current school speech-language practices and IDEA compliance.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
