Job Description

Empower students and support their communication needs as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist in a local school setting near Idaho Falls, ID! Key Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active SLP state license or eligibility in Idaho
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, CFY candidates considered
  • Previous experience working in a school environment is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficient in documentation, assessment, and intervention techniques

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students
  • Deliver direct and indirect therapy aligned with IEP goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school-based professionals
  • Maintain accurate records and progress reports in compliance with IDEA and district requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team efforts
  • Educate and support staff and families regarding communication strategies
