Key Qualifications:
- Valid NY SLP credential/certification required
- Background or clinical fellowship experience (CFY) in pediatric or school-based speech language pathology
- Experience with teletherapy platforms a plus
- Strong knowledge of pediatric speech, language, and communication disorders
- Commitment to professional and ethical standards in educational and healthcare settings
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Provide direct therapy services to children ages 6-12, in-person and/or digitally as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, families, and interdisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Maintain clear, timely documentation and progress reports in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development and review of student goals
