Job Description

This is a contract opportunity beginning August 10th, 2026, and concluding June 9th, 2027, with a schedule of 37.5 hours per week.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Maryland SLP license required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, though Clinical Fellows (CFYs) will also be considered
  • Experience working in school-based environments is highly valued
  • Proficiency in developing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Willingness to work across multiple school sites (please provide your zip code for placement)

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students with diverse needs
  • Design and deliver individualized and group therapy sessions
  • Collaborate with educators, multidisciplinary staff, and families to develop effective support strategies
  • Accurately document services, progress, and recommendations in compliance with district protocols
  • Support IEP team meetings and contribute to planning for students growth and achievement
  • Encourage positive and inclusive communication for students in classroom settings
