Bring your expertise in speech-language pathology to a dynamic school-based setting where youll make a meaningful difference for students across multiple locations. With a focus on collaboration and student-centered care, youll help support communication growth and academic success in a diverse educational community. This is a contract opportunity beginning August 10th, 2026, and concluding June 9th, 2027, with a schedule of 37.5 hours per week.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Maryland SLP license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, though Clinical Fellows (CFYs) will also be considered
- Experience working in school-based environments is highly valued
- Proficiency in developing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Willingness to work across multiple school sites (please provide your zip code for placement)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students with diverse needs
- Design and deliver individualized and group therapy sessions
- Collaborate with educators, multidisciplinary staff, and families to develop effective support strategies
- Accurately document services, progress, and recommendations in compliance with district protocols
- Support IEP team meetings and contribute to planning for students growth and achievement
- Encourage positive and inclusive communication for students in classroom settings
