Job Description
A Massachusetts-licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is sought to serve a K-12 student population. This contract position offers flexible full-time or part-time hours in a school setting located in Hyannis, MA.
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide individualized speech and language therapy to students from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans based on student needs and goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and reports in compliance with school policies and regulatory standards
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
Qualifications:
- Valid Massachusetts SLP license
- Experience working with K-12 caseloads preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to tailor therapy approaches to diverse student needs and educational settings
- Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment
