Key Qualifications:
- Hold a valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in Maryland (active MD SLP license required)
- SLP-CCC certification required
- Previous experience in Maryland schools strongly preferred
- Proven ability to manage a diverse K-12 caseload with varying support needs
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Commitment to professional integrity and ongoing development
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language services to K-12 students within a structured, nurturing setting
- Evaluate students, develop individualized treatment plans, and document progress
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to support student achievement
- Maintain accurate records in accordance with state and district requirements
- Contribute to IEP meetings and interdisciplinary team discussions
- Stay current with best practices and legal updates pertaining to school-based speech therapy
