Desired Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or CF accepted
• Valid SLP state licensure or eligibility in Alabama
• Experience working with pediatric and/or school-based populations preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with teachers, staff, and families
• Ability to create and implement individualized therapy plans

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough speech, language, and communication assessments for students
• Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and monitor progress towards therapy goals
• Deliver direct and indirect therapy services individually or in groups
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents to maximize student success
• Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress reports in compliance with district and state requirements
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide expert input on speech-language needs and interventions
