Job Description

Embark on a fulfilling contract opportunity supporting students in a vibrant district near Huntersville, NC. Step into a role providing speech-language pathology services across multiple elementary schools, including opportunities for both direct and itinerant support. Assignments span a diverse group of classroom settings, such as Pre-K, Deaf and Hard of Hearing programs, and a range of elementary schools.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required; CFY candidates are encouraged to apply.
  • Experience in pediatric, healthcare, or school-based SLP settings, including teletherapy, strongly preferred.
  • Ability to supervise an SLPA, or willingness to do so.
  • Comfortable managing a school caseload and collaborating on IEPs within a workload or caseload model.
  • Documentation ready: transcripts must be provided prior to interviews.

Primary Duties:

  • Deliver comprehensive SLP services (assessment, therapy, and documentation) to students aged PreKmiddle school.
  • Travel between assigned locations with paid mileage.
  • Participate in indirect service hours, including paid administrative time and team meetings.
  • Collaborate with educational staff and families to support student wellbeing and progress.
  • Ensure compliance with district and state regulations, including accurate use of the districts IEP system (training provided).
  • Supervise an SLPA as needed.
