Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid state license or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Experience working with school-aged children in educational or clinical settings
  • Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized therapy plans
  • Strong collaborative spirit for team-based approaches to student success

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
  • Develop and execute individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
  • Deliver direct therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings
  • Monitor student progress, maintain accurate records, and update goals as needed
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings and IEP conferences
  • Educate and collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff
  • Support language development initiatives within classrooms and school programs
  • Stay current with best practices and regulatory requirements in educational speech-language pathology
