Job Description

Make a difference as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting students in an engaging school environment near Humble, TX! Qualifications and Skills:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active ASHA CCC-SLP certification (or CFY with supervision)
  • Current state license in Speech-Language Pathology, or eligibility
  • Recent experience in a school-based setting preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
  • Willingness to work with students across a variety of grade levels and needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language assessments for students as outlined in IEPs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with measurable goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student progress
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute knowledgeable recommendations
  • Document therapies, progress, and data in accordance with district policies
  • Provide direct and consultative therapy services
  • Support a positive, safe, and inclusive learning atmosphere for all students
