This contract opportunity allows you to engage with learners across 1-2 school buildings, helping them build vital communication skills. Key Qualifications:

• Active Texas SLP license
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
• Experience with K-8 student populations preferred
• Ability to supervise a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
• Meets all state and district requirements for school-based SLPs

Core Responsibilities:

• Perform screenings, assessments, and evaluations to identify student needs
• Develop and deliver individualized therapy sessions in accordance with IEPs
• Document progress and maintain thorough records for each student
• Participate in IEP meetings and work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and families
• Provide supervision and support to an SLPA as needed
• Offer consultative and training services to school staff on communication strategies
