Job Description

Step into a rewarding school-based Speech-Language Pathologist opportunity and make a lasting impact on students communication skills! This onsite, contract position runs from early August 2026 through the first week of June 2027, offering full-time hours in a collaborative, educational environment near Humble, TX. With a supportive multi-school team, youll provide essential services to a diverse caseload of approximately 60 studentstypically at one campus, occasionally across two.

What were looking for:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current Texas SLP license (or eligibility)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellowships (CFs) are welcome
  • Comfortable supervising support staff if holding a CCC
  • Previous school-based experience is advantageous
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills

What youll do:

  • Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and deliver therapy to students with varied speech-language needs
  • Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to promote positive outcomes for students
  • Provide supervision to SLPAs or CFs if qualified
  • Maintain accurate records in compliance with state and district guidelines
  • Use creativity and resourcefulness to support student growth in dynamic school settings
  • Adapt to occasional travel between two school campuses as needed
