Job Description

Make a meaningful impact as an onsite Speech-Language Pathologist, providing essential services to K-8 students across one or two school buildings. This contract opportunity allows you to work directly with children, collaborating with educational teams to deliver comprehensive speech and language support. You'll play a pivotal role in evaluating, assessing, and delivering therapy, as well as actively participating in IEP meetings to ensure student growth and development.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Texas Speech-Language Pathologist license
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
  • Experience or ability to supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs)
  • Must be familiar with Texas and district-specific standards for school-based SLPs

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess and evaluate the speech, language, and communication needs of K-8 students
  • Design and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student's goals
  • Participate as a vital member of IEP teams, offering expertise and recommendations
  • Document progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate effectively with families and staff
  • Supervise SLPAs as needed, ensuring compliance and high-quality support
