Desired Background:

  • Valid and current Speech-Language Pathologist license in Michigan
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • Experience working in school settings (Early Childhood, Elementary, Middle, and High School) preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong evaluation, intervention, and documentation skills
  • Compassionate and flexible approach, adapting services to student needs

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students aged preschool through high school
  • Conduct professional assessments and develop individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate records and progress reports in line with district and state standards
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multi-disciplinary planning
