Key Qualifications:
- Valid NY SLP license or eligibility required
- Accepted certifications: SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY
- Demonstrated experience with pediatric populations, preferably within a school setting
- Comfortable navigating teletherapy platforms and in-person sessions
- Strong ability to assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and continued learning
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to elementary-aged students
- Conduct evaluations, develop IEP goals, and track student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other related service providers
- Document services, maintain compliance with local and federal regulations
- Utilize both in-person and teletherapy modalities as determined by school needs
- Support a positive and inclusive school environment while advocating for student needs
