A full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available at a school located in Hudson, NY. This position offers a contract role working five days per week, focusing on children aged 6 to 12. Its an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional looking to apply their skills in a supportive educational environment.
Qualifications:
- Valid New York State SLP licensure is required
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech Language Pathology preferred
- Experience working with pediatric populations, especially ages 6-12
- Familiarity with school-based therapy practices and caseload management
- Competency in teletherapy is a plus
- Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are welcome to apply
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for school-age children
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each students needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Provide direct therapy services including articulation, language, fluency, voice, and auditory processing interventions
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records according to regulatory standards
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive school culture
