This in-person, contract role is located near Howell, MI and extends through the remainder of the school year. Key Qualifications:

• Active Speech-Language Pathology license (CCC-SLP or CFY accepted) for the state of Michigan
• Prior experience delivering speech therapy in an elementary school or with children ages 5-11 is strongly preferred
• Familiarity with IEP development, progress monitoring, and documentation of student goals
• Skilled in both individual and group therapy interventions
• Excellent communication abilities with students, families, and colleagues
• Strong organizational and time management skills

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct, in-person speech and language therapy to students in grades K-5
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, special educators, and parents to support student communication needs
• Evaluate student speech, language, and communication skills, conducting assessments as required
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Maintain accurate progress records and participate in IEP meetings
• Adapt therapy strategies to meet each students abilities and goals
