Desired Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Current SLP license in Texas (or eligibility to obtain)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, will consider CFY applicants
• School-based experience is highly valued
• Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills

What Youll Do:

• Provide direct therapy services to students individually or in small groups according to IEP goals
• Conduct evaluations, re-evaluations, and assessments to identify speech and language needs
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to develop effective treatment plans
• Maintain accurate student records, progress reports, and required documentation
• Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings
• Educate and empower staff and family members with strategies and recommendations
• Adapt therapy approaches to address students diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds
