Desired Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Valid Texas SLP license (or eligibility for licensure)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (preferred)
• Previous experience with pediatric or school-aged populations
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff
• Competence in assessments, treatment planning, and progress documentation
• Collaborative spirit and adaptability in a school setting

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct screenings, comprehensive evaluations, and diagnostic assessments for students
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to individual student needs
• Provide direct therapy services, both individual and group, to address speech, language, and communication challenges
• Participate actively in IEP meetings by offering insights and recommendations
• Maintain accurate documentation of interventions, progress, and communication with stakeholders
• Offer guidance to teachers and families regarding strategies and supports for student success
• Stay current with best practices and compliance standards in school-based speech therapy
