Key Qualifications:
- Active and valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in Texas
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Prior experience working within a school setting, particularly at the primary or elementary level
- Demonstrated skill in supervising Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA)
- Familiarity with the ARD process and special education procedures
- Exceptional communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct onsite support to assigned primary and elementary campuses
- Oversee and mentor assigned SLPA(s), ensuring quality and compliance in service delivery
- Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations for students as needed
- Actively participate in and facilitate ARD meetings, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation aligned with district and regulatory guidelines
- Note: This position does not involve therapy services
