This role is full-time, contract-based, and focuses exclusively on supervisory and assessment functionsno direct therapy services are expected. Youll play an essential part in facilitating student success and collaborating with professionals across primary and elementary campuses.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Hold an active SLP license in Texas
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) preferred
• Previous school-based SLP experience highly valued
• Skilled in supervising Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA)
• Comfortable conducting comprehensive speech-language evaluations
• Experienced in facilitating and participating in ARD (Admission, Review, Dismissal) meetings
• Ability to manage schedules and caseloads across multiple campus locations
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership abilities

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and provide supervision for assigned SLPAs
• Complete speech and language evaluations for students in primary and elementary settings
• Lead and support ARD meetings, working with multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate documentation and reports following district and state guidelines
• Serve as a resource and consultant for teachers and staff regarding communication disorders
• Travel between assigned campuses as needed (all sites are within the district)
