Key Qualifications:
- Valid and active Texas SLP or SLPA license (must provide screenshot for verification)
- Previous experience working in a school-based setting
- Willingness and ability to provide on-site services (remote not available)
- Reliable means of transportation to fulfill job responsibilities
- Ability to complete required HISD fingerprinting within the first three days of contract signing
Responsibilities Include:
- Deliver direct therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to support academic achievement
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress tracking for all assigned students
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans
