Make an impact in the lives of students by utilizing your expertise in speech-language pathology for a full-time, onsite contract opportunity in the Houston area for the 2026-2027 academic year. This role offers you the chance to work with a diverse caseload, fostering communication development and supporting educational success within a school setting.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid SLP license in the state of Texas
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required; Clinical Fellows welcome to apply
- Prior experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Comfortable supervising SLPAs or CFs if holding CCC
- Ability to adapt to working at one or occasionally two school sites
- Passion for student-centered, collaborative care
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs
- Complete evaluations, re-evaluations, and documentation in a timely, compliant manner
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to support each students communication goals
- Supervise SLPAs or CFs as required (for SLP-CCC)
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team planning
- Travel between two campuses on occasion, if needed, based on assignment
