Position Overview
- Temporary, full-time contract: October February
- Hours: 8:35 AM 3:35 PM at a single elementary school site (no multi-building travel)
- Serve grades K5; case management for 6 students, total service load includes 19 IEP students and 19 intervention students
- Partner with an on-site SLP for support and collaboration
- Paid time for administrative tasks and participation in team meetings
Qualifications
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Valid state SLP license or credential (or eligibility to obtain before the start date)
- Background check and fingerprint clearance
- Experience with elementary-age students preferred; travel professionals highly encouraged
Responsibilities
- Conduct speech/language evaluations and deliver interventions
- Manage IEP caseload, write individualized goals, and track progress
- Communicate with parents, teachers, and multidisciplinary staff
- Attend and contribute to team meetings, complete related documentation
