Job Description

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship (CFY)
  • Appropriate state licensure for practice as an SLP, or willingness to obtain
  • Previous experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations is highly valued
  • Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Proficiency with assessment tools and progress reporting

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to identify speech, language, communication, or swallowing disorders in students
  • Develop personalized therapy plans targeting identified areas of need
  • Provide direct therapeutic services to students individually and in small groups
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to maximize student outcomes
  • Monitor, document, and report student progress toward IEP goals
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings and provide expertise for goal setting
  • Offer guidance on strategies that foster communication in the classroom and at home
