Job Description

Embark on a rewarding opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting elementary students starting Fall 2026. In this contract role, youll provide services across two elementary schools, dedicating approximately 23 hours per week to empowering K5 learners. As you balance your time between locations, youll play a critical part in fostering communication skills for students with diverse needs.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Hold an active, valid State SLP License
  • Experience working in elementary school settings (K5) preferred
  • Knowledge of best practices in school-based speech-language pathology
  • Strong collaboration skills with teachers, families, and support staff
  • Effective communication, documentation, and organizational abilities

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy to elementary students as determined by individual education plans (IEPs)
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings
  • Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans to support students' academic and social success
  • Maintain clear records of services provided and progress achieved
  • Educate and collaborate with school personnel and families to promote effective support strategies within classroom and home environments
  • Remain current with professional standards and participate in professional development as needed

This position spans approximately 0.6 FTE, allowing for a flexible weekly schedule while supporting a split caseload across two dynamic school communities. The caseload specifics will be established closer to the assignment start, ensuring a supportive onboarding experience.
