Job Description

This contract role is for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide onsite support in multiple elementary and middle schools within a district in Minnesota. The position involves covering a series of maternity leaves, with varied start and end dates aligned to each leave schedule. The role is ideal for candidates holding SLP credentials, including those with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), and is open to Certified SLPs but not Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs).

Location: Hopkins, MN area (multiple schools including Brooklyn Center, Blaine, and Roosevelt Middle School)
Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday
Service Model: 3:1 ratio three weeks of direct therapy services followed by one week of indirect services
Caseload: Focus on therapy services only with no evaluations required. Caseload includes typical elementary school cases as well as some students in Setting III CDC.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to elementary and middle school students
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across multiple school locations
  • Manage caseload in accordance with a 3:1 service model alternating weeks of direct and indirect service
  • Support continuity of care during maternity leave coverage

Qualifications:

  • Valid SLP license and/or Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
  • Experience working in school settings preferred, with familiarity servicing a range of caseloads including Setting III CDC students
  • Ability to work onsite at multiple schools within the district
  • Commitment to flexible scheduling to accommodate maternity leave coverage timelines
