Job Description

Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students as a Speech-Language Pathologist working onsite in a vibrant educational community near Hope Mills, NC. This full-time contract opportunity runs from August 2025 through May 2027 and offers the chance to support students ranging from elementary to high school ages. Your expertise will help students build and strengthen crucial communication skills, preparing them for success in school and beyond.

Key Qualifications:

  • Must hold an active North Carolina SLP license, or be able to secure one prior to the start date (out-of-state candidates are welcome if eligible)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting is strongly preferred
  • Comfortable managing a diverse caseload spanning elementary, middle, and high school levels
  • Strong collaboration skillsability to partner with teachers, parents, and other education professionals
  • Open to candidates who are interested in travel assignments
  • Must be available for onsite work (remote/telepractice cannot be accommodated)

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in alignment with state and federal guidelines
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote student achievement
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation of progress and interventions
  • Provide support to families and staff regarding best practices and strategies
