A travel contract here presents a chance to collaborate with a pediatric outpatient clinic where youll work one-on-one with children ages 2-18, primarily presenting with mild to moderate delays. Youll oversee everything from assessment and evaluations to direct therapy and participation in IEP meetings, gaining valuable skills across a range of clinical and administrative responsibilities. Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Active SLP license or eligibility in Florida
- CCC-SLP or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply
- Pediatric speech therapy experience, especially in outpatient or school settings
- Background working with 2-18 year olds with mild to moderate needs (pragmatic, receptive/expressive language, reading, writing, articulation, and autism)
- Comfortable participating in the full scope of assessments, evaluations, therapy, and IEPs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct individualized therapy sessions (no group cases)
- Oversee comprehensive assessments and evaluations
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans
- Actively participate in IEP meetings
- Support children with high-functioning autism and a range of communication delays
