Job Description

A one-year contract position with potential for extension or permanent placement is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist in a pediatric outpatient clinic located in Homestead, Florida. This role focuses on providing individualized therapy to children ages 2 to 18, primarily addressing mild to moderate speech and language challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments, evaluations, and ongoing therapy for pediatric clients
  • Provide one-on-one speech therapy sessions, emphasizing pragmatic skills, receptive and expressive language, reading, writing delays, articulation, and support for children with high-functioning autism
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Maintain accurate documentation and treatment planning tailored to each child's needs

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid SLP certification with Clinical Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Pediatric experience, including clinical fellowship year (CFY) completion
  • Familiarity with school-based therapy and outpatient pediatric settings
  • Expertise in working with autism spectrum disorders and language-based learning difficulties
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
