This position focuses on providing speech-language pathology services across multiple school sites, offering the chance to make a meaningful impact throughout the school year.
Responsibilities include:
- Deliver speech and language therapy for a diverse caseload of preschool students and high schoolers
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and other professionals to support student success
- Travel between school sites as needed to ensure comprehensive service delivery
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in accordance with school policy and regulation
- Participate in case conferences, team meetings, and professional development sessions
Qualifications and desired experience:
- Current LA SLP License required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
- Strong understanding of educational procedures and special education documentation
- Effective communication, organizational, and time management skills
- Ability to adapt and provide services across multiple age groups and locations
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between sites
This contract spans from early August through May, aligning with the school calendar to provide the ideal work-life balance for those seeking to spend holidays and summers off.
