Make a meaningful impact this school year working with K-4th grade students as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist. This opportunity is based near Holt, MI, offering a full-time schedule of 35 hours per week from August 17, 2026, through November 20, 2026. Ideal for professionals passionate about fostering communication and language development in early elementary learners.
Your background and experience matter:
- Valid and active SLP license for Michigan is required
- Certification as an SLP-CCC is mandatory (CFs not accepted for this role)
- Prior experience delivering SLP services in school settings is highly desirable
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized therapy plans
Primary responsibilities in this assignment will include:
- Conducting assessments and evaluations for students in grades K-4
- Delivering direct therapy services to individuals and small groups
- Developing and maintaining IEP goals and documentation
- Consulting with teachers, staff, and families to maximize student progress
- Supporting inclusive education initiatives in the school environment
- Monitoring and reporting student outcomes
