Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences & Disorders
  • Active SLP license in the state of Florida
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP), or eligibility considered
  • Previous experience within school settings preferred, but not required
  • Ability to design and implement individualized therapy plans
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate students to identify communication disorders and speech/language needs
  • Diagnose speech, language, and swallowing disorders and develop tailored therapy plans
  • Provide direct therapy services to individual students and small groups
  • Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to support student progress
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and complete required documentation
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date reports on student progress
