Job Description

Make an impact supporting elementary-aged students as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist working with grades K5. This in-person contract opportunity gives you the chance to support young learners' speech and communication growth in a dynamic school setting located near Holly, MI. The position is full time at 37.5 hours per week, but those seeking part time hours are also encouraged to apply. This assignment continues through the end of the school year, delivering both rewarding challenges and valuable experience.

Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure or eligibility as an SLP
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) considered
  • Experience or comfort working with elementary school students (grades K-5)
  • Strong collaboration skills with students, educators, and families
  • Ability to develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and track progress
  • Previous school-based experience is a plus, though not required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct screenings, assessments, and diagnostics for students speech/language needs
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans for K5 students
  • Deliver direct and consultative therapy services in a school environment
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, special educators, and support staff
  • Maintain detailed and accurate documentation and progress reports
  • Engage with families to support student communication goals
