Desired Experience and Skills:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current state licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Experience supporting pediatric populations, including early childhood, elementary, junior high, and high school students
• Skilled in assessments, development of therapy plans, and delivery of both individual and group interventions
• Strong communication abilities with students, staff, and families
• Knowledge of IEP writing, implementation, and participation in multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough speech, language, and communication assessments for students in Pre-K through Grade 12
• Develop and implement effective individualized treatment plans based on identified student needs
• Deliver direct therapy services in individual and group settings, adapting methods to meet diverse learning styles and developmental stages
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support generalization of communication skills in the classroom and at home
• Participate in IEP meetings, progress monitoring, and documentation adhering to district and state standards
• Provide professional guidance and resources to staff and families regarding communication development
