Make a positive impact as a Speech-Language Pathologist by providing vital services to students across a full range of grade levels, from Pre-K through High School. Desired Experience and Skills:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience supporting pediatric populations, including early childhood, elementary, junior high, and high school students
- Skilled in assessments, development of therapy plans, and delivery of both individual and group interventions
- Strong communication abilities with students, staff, and families
- Knowledge of IEP writing, implementation, and participation in multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough speech, language, and communication assessments for students in Pre-K through Grade 12
- Develop and implement effective individualized treatment plans based on identified student needs
- Deliver direct therapy services in individual and group settings, adapting methods to meet diverse learning styles and developmental stages
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support generalization of communication skills in the classroom and at home
- Participate in IEP meetings, progress monitoring, and documentation adhering to district and state standards
- Provide professional guidance and resources to staff and families regarding communication development
