Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting elementary students as a contracted Speech Language Pathologist for a summer assignment running July 6th through August 14th. This role offers an engaging schedule of 27.5 hours per week, with workdays from 8:15am to 2:15pm, Monday through Friday. Work closely with young learners, helping them communicate more effectively while enjoying the dynamic setting of a school near Holland, NY.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Hold an active New York SLP license
- Eligible for, or holder of, Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
- Prior experience working with school-age or pediatric caseloads preferred
- Strong collaboration skills to work with teachers, families, and support staff
- Committed to fostering communication development and academic success
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language services to students in an elementary caseload
- Conduct assessments, create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student growth
- Maintain timely and thorough progress documentation
- Consult regularly with classroom teachers and parents to support student learning
