Job Description

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Prior experience working with elementary school-aged children preferred
  • Familiarity with IEP development, assessments, and progress monitoring
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
  • Dedication to providing inclusive and effective therapy for diverse learners

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to identify students speech and language needs
  • Develop, implement, and review individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Deliver evidence-based therapy sessions to elementary students, individually or in groups
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists
  • Document student progress and adjust interventions as necessary
  • Participate in school-based meetings and contribute to student support teams
