Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Prior experience working with elementary school-aged children preferred
- Familiarity with IEP development, assessments, and progress monitoring
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
- Dedication to providing inclusive and effective therapy for diverse learners
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students speech and language needs
- Develop, implement, and review individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Deliver evidence-based therapy sessions to elementary students, individually or in groups
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists
- Document student progress and adjust interventions as necessary
- Participate in school-based meetings and contribute to student support teams
