Job Description

A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to support students in an elementary school setting, serving grades K-5. This contract position is located in Holland, MI, and provides an excellent opportunity to work directly with young learners in person. The role is full time at 37.5 hours per week, with part-time applicants also being considered. The assignment extends through the remainder of the current school year and includes benefits.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in elementary students.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students needs.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to promote effective communication skills.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary.
  • Document services and maintain compliance with school and district policies.

Qualifications:

  • Valid state license and certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Experience working with elementary school students, particularly in grades K-5.
  • Strong knowledge of speech-language development and intervention techniques.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and school staff.
  • Reliable and committed to on-site, in-person work.
