Job Description

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Must hold a valid MN Department of Education SLP License.
  • Open to candidates with SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or strong backgrounds in school-based SLP services.
  • Demonstrated experience or training working with school-aged children preferred.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to develop IEPs, conduct assessments, and deliver both individual and group therapy.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language evaluation and therapy to students as outlined in their IEPs.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to support student success.
  • Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state requirements.
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP development.
  • Serve as an educational resource for staff and families pertaining to speech and language needs.
  • Foster a positive learning environment that supports diverse students.
