Job Description

A rewarding part-time contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist to support students during the 2026-2027 school year. Work just 3 days per week (22.5 hours total), serving a low caseload in a nurturing school setting near Hodges, SC. This position runs from September 18, 2026, through June 2, 2027, with a focus on both preschool and itinerant speech services across multiple collaborative sites.

Qualifications:

  • Active South Carolina LLR License
  • South Carolina Teaching Certification or Educator Licensure
  • Previous school-based experience preferred (strong clinical backgrounds considered)
  • Passion for working with students who have diverse communication needs
  • Highly organized and comfortable providing direct therapy, evaluations, and progress tracking
  • Open to both experienced SLPs and Clinical Fellows (CFY)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations
  • Implement and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Deliver direct therapy to students
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes
  • Attend collaborative team meetings (paid/included in hours)
  • Support a manageable caseload of approximately 26 students
  • Serve multiple locations within a supportive district environment
