Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) is required
- Previous experience in school settings preferred, but strong clinical skills and a passion for working with children are essential
- Excellent communication, organization, and documentation abilities
- Commitment to providing culturally responsive and inclusive services
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with speech and language needs
- Deliver direct therapy services in individual and group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multi-disciplinary teams to support student progress
- Maintain accurate, timely records in compliance with school and state regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student-centered goals
- Provide resources and strategies to educators and caregivers for generalizing skills beyond therapy sessions
