Qualifications:
- Hold an active Speech-Language Pathology license for Texas (SLP in TX)
- CCC-SLP, SLP-CFY, and pediatric experience highly valued
- Previous exposure to school-based settings is desirable
- Ability to effectively collaborate with educators, administrators, and family members
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students across K-12 grade levels
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in alignment with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy to students, addressing a range of communication needs
- Maintain detailed session documentation and progress reports in compliance with district and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings to advocate for student needs and support team-based planning
- Stay current on best practices, research, and developments in pediatric speech-language pathology
