Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Active SLP licensure in Texas (TX SLP required)
- Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) considered
- Experience in pediatric and school settings preferred
- Strong communication, advocacy, and organizational skills
- Ability to tailor evaluations and interventions to a broad range of abilities
- Positive, team-oriented approach to student care
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students in grades K-12
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication needs
- Work closely with educators and families to support individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
- Provide direct therapy services in group and individualized settings
- Consult and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to maximize student success
