Qualifications:

• Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
• Valid SLP license for South Carolina (or eligibility to obtain)
• Previous experience working within school settings is preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and other therapists
• Effective organizational and documentation abilities

Your daily impact will include:

• Conducting screenings, assessments, and individualized therapy for students with speech, language, or communication challenges
• Developing and implementing IEP goals in coordination with teachers and families
• Maintaining accurate progress notes and documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
• Providing mentorship and support for students in both group and one-on-one settings
• Participating in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team conferences
• Educating staff and caregivers on strategies to support student communication
